How We Verify Listings

This page explains where listings come from, what verification does and does not mean, and how to correct or add information.

Where listings come from

Resources are gathered from two main sources:

Inclusion in this directory is not an endorsement or recommendation. It means we found a resource that appears relevant to the brain injury community -- not that we have evaluated its quality of care.

What "Verified by provider" means

Some listings display a Verified by provider badge. This means the organization or individual listed has confirmed their own listing's details directly with us -- it does not mean we have independently audited their credentials, licensing, or quality of care. A listing without this badge has not necessarily been declined verification; it may simply not have been claimed yet.

How to correct or claim a listing

Every listing includes an "Is this your listing? Claim or correct it" link. Providers, and anyone who spots outdated or incorrect information, are encouraged to use this link so we can review and update the entry.

A living directory, not a finished one

This directory is in active beta. Contact information, service details, and even whether a program still operates can change faster than any directory can track. Please verify details directly with a provider before relying on them -- especially for insurance acceptance, cost, and current availability.
